PERFORMANCE ORDER

Prevention

Previously check a condition of fuel hoses and tubes. Watch fuel consumption. If the expense considerably exceeds norm, damage of a diaphragm of the pump can be the reason. In this case level of oil can exceed norm, and from oil the gasoline smell can extend.

1. Disconnect from the carburetor a gasoline pipe line and insert a tee with a manometer.
2. Start the engine and check pressure of fuel which should be within 0,18–0,6 atm.
3. After an engine stop pressure should decrease slowly.
4. If the engine is not started, rotate a starter before emergence of indications of a manometer.
5. If pressure falls quickly, the final valve of the pump and the pump is faulty it is necessary to replace.
6. If pressure is too great, check purity of a ventilating opening of the pump.
7. If pressure too low, replace the pump, previously having checked purity of hoses and absence their perezhatiya.
