Check and replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before check of the fuel level sensor define amount of fuel in a tank.
2. On cars of early releases conducting of the sensor is under a tank.
3. On cars of late releases it is necessary to remove an average seat and a hatch cover.
4. Disconnect the battery from weight and the sensor socket on a tank.
5. Check resistance of the sensor which at completely filled tank should be 17 Ohm, and at empty – about 120 Ohm.
6. It is possible to remove also the sensor and to check resistance according to the scheme (see fig. Fuel level sensor check).
7. If resistance of the sensor differ, the sensor replace.
8. For replacement of the sensor remove a tank on cars of early release, and on cars of a series 80 remove an average seat.
9. Having slightly inclined, carefully get the sensor with an arm.
10. Disconnect the socket, unscrew the screw and remove the sensor from an arm.
11. The sensor is established upside-down.
