5.2.3.1. Check of a regulator of pressure of fuel

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect and muffle a vacuum hose of a regulator of pressure of fuel. Connect to a regulator the manual vacuum pump. Start the engine and consider the indication of pressure of fuel without depression on a regulator. Create depression in a regulator and again consider pressure of fuel. With depression growth on a regulator pressure of fuel should decrease. Compare indications with specified in subsection 5.2.1.
2. Attach a vacuum hose to a regulator and check pressure of fuel idling, Compare indications to the standard.
3. Disconnect a hose and again consider pressure, – as soon as the hose is disconnected pressure should increase jump to the top standard limit. If pressure of fuel idling at the disconnected hose too high, measure by the vacuum gage depression size on a vacuum hose. If the vacuum gage shows nothing, check tightness of a soaking-up collector and the leveling chamber.
4. On early models the vacuum valve of a regulator works from the contact sensor of temperature, on later copes the processor block. Check of the vacuum valve is carried out in car-care center.
5. If pressure of fuel too low, press a return hose. If pressure does not increase, the pump is faulty or the fuel highway is littered. If pressure sharply increases, replace a pressure regulator.
6. If pressure of fuel too high, execute actions for a system decompression, disconnect a return gasoline pipe line and blow it. If the return gasoline pipe line is not littered, a regulator of pressure replace.
7. If the behavior of pressure differs from described in item 2, replace a pressure regulator.
8. Carefully remove a manometer.
9. Wrap the union of the distributor of fuel, previously having replaced laying.
10. Wipe the spilled gasoline.
11. Start the engine and check existence of a leak of gasoline.
