PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Two relays are switched on in an electric chain of fuel system. At first check tension existence from the battery on the main relay, and then on the relay of the fuel pump.
2. Disconnect the main relay from the socket, then include ignition (the engine do not start) and check tension existence from the battery.
3. If tension from the battery is, put the main relay on a place and check tension existence from the battery on the relay of the fuel pump. The relay is on a mudguard of a wheel niche from the driver.
4. If tension from the battery is present on both relays, check relays.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. An ohmmeter check integrity of a chain between contacts 1 and 3 (see fig. Check of the main relay with a zapityvaniye of contacts (1988-89). Between contacts 2 and the 4th ohmmeter should show a gap.
2. On conclusions 1 and 3 submit tension from the battery.
3. Between conclusions 2 and 4 should be the closed chain.
4. If results of tests differ, the relay replace.

TURNING ON OF THE FUEL PUMP
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. An ohmmeter (1) check integrity of a chain (2) between conclusions +В1 and FPR and +В2 and FP.
2. Between contacts +В and PR the ohmmeter should show a gap.
3. On conclusions +В1 and FPR submit tension from the battery.
4. Now between conclusions +В and FP should be the closed chain. If results of tests differ, the relay replace.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Between conclusions 3 and 5 should be the closed chain (see fig. Check of the relay of the fuel pump (1996)).
2. Between conclusions 3 and the 5th ohmmeter should show resistance of 80 Ohm.
3. On conclusions 1 and 5 submit tension from the battery.
4. Between conclusions 1 and 2 should be tension from the battery, and between conclusions 3 and 5 should be the closed chain.
5. If results of tests differ, the relay replace.

CHAIN RELAY of the FUEL PUMP (1988-94)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check chain existence between ST and E1 contacts (see fig. Check of the relay of a chain of the fuel pump with a zapityvaniye of the coil (1988-94), and also between conclusions +В and FC.
2. Between conclusions +В and FP the ohmmeter should show a gap.
3. On conclusions of ST and E1 submit tension from the battery.
4. Between conclusions +В and FP should be the closed chain. If results of tests differ, the relay replace.

CHAIN RELAY of the FUEL PUMP (1995)

The procedure for test is similar to check of the main relay (see above).

RESISTANCE OF THE RESISTOR OF THE PUMP

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Resistance of the resistor of the pump should be 0,73 Ohm at normal temperature.
2. Otherwise the resistor replace.
