Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Weaken boats of a casing of the fan.
3. Disconnect a cable of a zaslonka and involve a cable towards transmission.
4. Remove the handle and a cover of the lever of a transfer case.
5. Lift the car and establish on supports.
6. Remove the bottom guard and merge transmission liquid from transmission and oil from a transfer case.
7. Remove driveshafts (cм. subsection 7.4.3.2).
8. Remove a forward exhaust pipe.
9. Disconnect from a transmission case a refueling branch pipe and tubes of a cooler of liquid.
10. On cars till 1992 disconnect a speedometer cable.
11. Disconnect from transmission sockets and vacuum hoses.
	12. Disconnect drafts from transmission (And) and a transfer case (In).
13. Remove a starter.
	14. Uncover the hydrotransformer. Designate position of the hydrotransformer on a leading disk.
	15. Unscrew serially bolts, turning the crankshaft.
16. Will hang out the engine and transmission by jacks and unscrew bolts of fastening of transmission to a cross-piece.
17. Slightly raise transmission and unscrew bolts and nuts of fastening of a cross-piece to a frame and remove a cross-piece.

18. Unscrew bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine c left (a photo at the left) and with right (a photo on the right) (are specified by shooters).
19. Displace transmission back and remove from directing pins. Fix the hydrotransformer on transmission. Omit transmission and get from under the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Be convinced that the hydrotransformer is in gearing with the pump and primary shaft. For this purpose press the hydrotransformer towards transmission, at the same time turning.

2. The correct landing of the hydrotransformer is accompanied by characteristic ringing knock.

3. Further assembly is carried out upside-down.

4. Combine labels on the hydrotransformer, put when dismantling, attach all sockets and hoses.

5. Adjust drafts.
