5.2.9.2.3. Regulator of pressure of fuel

GENERAL INFORMATION

Check

The description of a procedure for test of the pump and pressure of fuel (see subsection 5.2.3).

Pressure regulator on cars of 1988-92.

Disconnect a hose of return supply of fuel, unscrew two bolts and remove a regulator.

3. Pressure regulator

Pressure regulator on cars c of 1993.

The regulator of pressure is turned out.

5. At assembly to tighten with the set moment

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Execute a decompression of fuel system and disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Disconnect from a regulator a vacuum hose.
3. Substitute the pallet under a return fuel hose.
4. On cars of 1988-92 – unscrew a bolt of the union of a hose of a return gasoline pipe line of the banjo type, remove washers and disconnect a return gasoline pipe line from a pressure regulator. On cars since 1993 – weaken a collar and disconnect from a pressure regulator a hose of a return gasoline pipe line.
5. On cars of 1988-92 – unscrew bolts and remove a regulator (see fig. A pressure regulator on cars of 1988-92). On cars since 1993 – turn out a regulator (see fig. A pressure regulator on cars c of 1993).
6. Replace a sealing ring and be convinced of correctness of installation of a regulator on the distributor.
7. Further installation is carried out upside-down
