5.2.9.2.4. Valve of a regulator of turns of idling

GENERAL INFORMATION

The valve of a regulator of turns of idling (the ISC valve, on cars of 1988-92) or the control air valve of idling (the IAC valve, on cars with 1993г.).
Prevention

Turns of idling of the engine are established by the manufacturer and at operation in normal conditions of their adjustment it is not required. However, if replacement of the chamber of a butterfly valve was made or there are suspicions that adjustment of turns of idling was broken (for example, the screw of idling was turned out from the butterfly valve chamber), it is necessary to hand over the car in car-care center.


Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At ignition switching off the valve of a regulator of turns of idling (ISC valve) should publish click.
2. Disconnect the ISC valve socket.
3. A crossing point submit tension on conclusions В1 and В2. Connect to weight S1 and S2 conclusions, then S3 and S4. Plunzher of the valve should be put forward, i.e. the valve should be closed.
4. A crossing point submit tension on conclusions В1 and В2. Connect to weight S3 and S4 conclusions, then S1 and S2. Plunzher of the valve should be involved, i.e. the valve should open.
5. If the valve does not work, replace it.
6. Check resistance between conclusions of B1 and S1, B1 and S3, then between conclusions of B2 and S2, B2 and S4. Results compare with specified in specifications (see subsection 5.2.1).
7. If resistance in norm, the valve is serviceable (in this case it is necessary to look for malfunction in conducting from the ECM block).
8. If resistance differs from standard, the valve replace.
9. Attach the socket.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If access to screws is complicated, remove the zaslonka case.
2. Unscrew fastening screws (are specified by shooters) the ISC valve (or the IAC valve) to the case of a zaslonka and remove the valve.
3. At replacement of the valve establish the thermovacuum TVV valve which has been removed from the replaced ISC valve, and replace laying.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down.
