7.4.2.3. The directing bearing

GENERAL INFORMATION

The ball directing bearing is a support of primary shaft of a check point and is pressed in an opening in a back flange of the crankshaft. A condition of the bearing it is necessary to check every time when coupling acts in film. If there are doubts concerning a bearing condition, it is necessary to replace it. At engine removal the bearing changes without fail.

Check and replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a transmission.
2. Remove coupling.
3. Wipe greasing and check a bearing condition, having shined it in an opening.
	4. At detection of damages of a sock of primary shaft, or in case of the complicated rotation, выпрессуйте the bearing.
5. In the absence of a stripper remove the bearing by means of hydroblow.
	6. For this purpose fill deepening in the crankshaft with dense greasing, having carefully removed air.
	7. Strike on the opravke-conductor inserted into the bearing. Diameter of an opravka should be a little less internal diameter of the bearing.
8. Get the bearing and remove all greasing.
	9. Press the new bearing an opravka resting against an external holder.
10. Establish coupling and a transmission.
