9.2. Stabilizer of a forward suspension bracket and plug

1. Lift a car front.
2. Remove drafts of the stabilizer. On FJ60 cars, 62 remember an assembly order of details of drafts of the stabilizer – plates and plugs.
3. For removal of drafts it is enough to turn out bolts from arms.
4. Unscrew bolts of collars of plugs and remove the stabilizer.
5. Remove plugs of the stabilizer and check their condition of plugs. The damaged plugs (cracks, hardening of rubber, etc. signs) replace. If necessary replace plugs of drafts of the stabilizer.

1. Establish new plugs.
2. Insert plugs into collars and establish the stabilizer. Bolts do not tighten.
3. Establish drafts and tighten nuts with the set moment.
4. Tighten stabilizer bolts with the set moment.
