Prevention
Before performance of check find an arrangement of the corresponding wires, using the scheme (see subsection 12.22). Keep in mind that power wires (connected to the battery) have brighter coloring and bigger diameter rather than wires of connection with weight.
Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. At too slowed down course of brushes check a battery condition. If the battery is completely charged, remove the screen wiper electric motor (see below) and check by hand freedom of moving of brushes. If necessary grease all sharnirny connections or repair. If this measure does not give result, check a condition of contacts, especially connections with weight. If all connections in a normal state, the electric motor replace. |
2. If the screen wiper does not work, check a safety lock. If the safety lock is serviceable, connect the electric motor to weight a separate crossing point. If the electric motor turns on, repair connection with weight. Otherwise include a screen wiper and disconnect the electric motor socket. Check tension presence on the electric motor. If tension is, check the electric motor, having connected it to the battery through a thin delay. If the electric motor turns on, check freedom of moving of draft. Otherwise replace the electric motor. In the absence of tension on the electric motor check tension on the switch. If there is no tension on the switch, check conducting from a safety lock to the switch. If conducting is serviceable, the switch is faulty. |
3. If brushes work only on one speed, check conducting. If conducting is serviceable replace the switch. |
4. If frequency of work of brushes is not regulated, check conducting between the electric motor and the switch. If conducting is serviceable, replace the regulator module. |
5. If brushes do not come back to the parked situation at switching off, check tension on the electric motor at the included ignition and the switched-off cleaner. If tension is available, the trailer switch in the electric motor is faulty. Replace the electric motor. If tension is not present, check and repair conducting between a safety lock and the electric motor. |
6. If brushes continue to work until then ignition will not be switched off yet, disconnect the socket from the switch. If brushes stop, replace the switch. Otherwise the trailer switch in the electric motor is faulty. Replace the electric motor. |
7. If brushes come into area below a cowl edge, check a condition of drafts and all mechanism of a cleaner. If the mechanism is serviceable, check conducting between the electric motor and the switch. If conducting is serviceable, replace the electric motor. |
8. If results these checks negative, the electric motor replace. |

Replacement
REPLACEMENT OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR OF THE FORWARD SCREEN WIPER
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Unscrew fastening bolts (are specified by shooters) and raise the screen wiper electric motor. |
2. Unscrew a shaft nut from the back party of the electric motor. |
3. Disconnect the socket and get the electric motor. |
4. Installation is carried out upside-down. |
|
REPLACEMENT OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR OF THE BACK SCREEN WIPER
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Uncover the hatch and unscrew a nut of fastening of the lever of a brush. Remove the lever from a shaft. |
2. Unscrew a shaft nut. |
3. Open a back cover and remove the internal handle, an overlay of the bottom door and a hatch cover. |
4. Disconnect the electric motor socket. |
|
5. Unscrew fastening bolts (are specified by shooters) the electric motor of a back screen wiper and remove the electric motor assembled with drafts. |
6. Installation is carried out upside-down. |
