Provisions on the handle of the switch of external light devices:
(OFF–off, TAIL – back lamps, HEAD – headlights).
Provisions on the handle of the switch of light of headlights:
(Flash – off, Low – a passing beam, Higt – a driving beam of headlights).

Check
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Find, having tracked on wires, sockets of a combination of switches on a steering column and disconnect them from plaits. |
| 2. An ohmmeter or a control lamp check chain existence between the specified conclusions, in different positions of the switch. Replace the switch if results at least with one of checks the negative. |

Switch replacement
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Remove a wheel. |
| 3. Remove a casing of a steering column. |
| 4. Disconnect the socket of a combination of switches. |
|
5. Unscrew screws and remove from a steering shaft a combination of switches (screws of fastening of a combination of switches on FJ80 cars are specified by shooters illustrations, on other models an arrangement of screws same). |
| 6. Remove the necessary switch and replace. For this purpose unscrew screws or get pins. |
| 7. Assembly is carried out upside-down. |
