GENERAL INFORMATION

The structure of the electric drive includes switches, a lock drive, the control unit and wires. The control unit is mounted in salon, to the right of the block of safety locks.

It is independently possible to execute simple checks of a drive and connections. More detailed check and elimination of serious malfunctions is carried out in car-care center. Management of locks is carried out from the reversive electromagnets mounted in door niches.

Switches of locks have 2 provisions: Lock and Unlock. From the switch on the control unit the signal of unlocking or door locking arrives. The control unit changes polarity of a signal according to position of the switch, as a result conclusions of the coil of the solenoid incorporate either to weight or with a food of +12 Century.

On a part of cars anti-theft devices are built in door locks.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Safety locks and breakers are at first checked.
2. At operation of a drive of the lock at any position of the switch click should be listened.
3. Check short circuit of contacts of switches of door locks according to the enclosed chart. If contacts do not become isolated according to the enclosed scheme, the switch replace.
4. If the switch is serviceable, check break existence in the wires connecting the control unit, solenoids and switches.
5. Check connection with mass of the control unit and switches.
6. If does not work only one electromagnet, check presence on it of tension, having removed door facing. In the situation Lock on one of wires there should be a tension. After remaintaining the switch in the situation Unlock tension should be on an opposite wire.
7. If tension is, replace an electromagnet.
8. Otherwise check the relay or a wire between the control unit and the solenoid. As a rule, this wire breaks when closing and opening door.
