Removal and installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
Headlights with not folding optical element
2. Remove headlight facing. On FJ62 cars remove a plafond of the index of turn.
3. At removal of a headlight it is forbidden to rotate podpruzhinenny screws of adjustment of a bunch.
4. Unscrew screws of fastening of a frame and remove a frame of an optical element, holding a headlight.
5. Submit a headlight outside and disconnect the socket. Remove a headlight.
6. Attach the socket, сориентировав a new element so that the cast figures on a lens were turned up.
7. Establish a frame, tighten screws, insert a spring.
8. Check bunch adjustment (if the adjusting screw rotated).
Halogen headlights
Prevention

Halogen lamps gas-filled, under pressure. It is forbidden to undertake a lamp cylinder. The polluted lamp wipe the pure napkin moistened with alcohol.
9. Disconnect the socket from the back party of a headlight.
10. Turn the holder counter-clockwise and get from the case.
11. Pull a lamp and get from the holder. Insert a new lamp, without concerning a cylinder.
12. Attach the socket and check headlight work.

Adjustment
Prevention

It is necessary to check adjustment of headlights each 12 months, at replacement of a headlight or after repair of a forward part of a body. It should be noted that described procedure allows to adjust approximately only headlights, exact adjustment is carried out in car-care center.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On the headlight case with not folding optical element 2 podpruzhinenny screws for adjustment in vertical (from above) and horizontal (sideways) the planes are provided.
2. Adjustment of a halogen headlight is provided with screws on the case (see fig. Screws for adjustment of a bunch of a halogen lamp). Rotation of screws regulates the central provision of the index of the level located in the top part of a headlight.
3. The simplest way of adjustment consists in bunch installation on a marking on the screen (wall).
4. Designate a tape a perekrestiya of symmetrically axis of the car (see fig. A screen marking for adjustment of a beam of light of headlights). For more exact marking approach on a wall on distance about 20 see.
5. Establish the car in 7,5 m from a wall.
6. Adjustment is carried out at normal loading of the car and a thin tank. Establish a bunch of a passing beam of headlights so that the light spot settled down on 5 cm below a horizontal and on 5 cm the vertical is more right. For lifting of a bunch rotate the screw clockwise and on the contrary. The same concerns adjustment to the left-to the right.
7. Include a driving beam of headlights and adjust a bunch so that the spot was strictly on the vertical line, directly under a horizontal.
Prevention

Precisely to expose bunches of a driving and passing beam in such a way it can appear impossible. In this case try to adjust more precisely a passing beam with which it is necessary to go more often and on which traffic safety more depends.
8. As soon as possible adjust headlights in car-care center.
