Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Establish the piston of the 6th cylinder in VMT of a step of compression for what at first establish in VMT the piston of the 1st cylinder then tighten the crankshaft on 1 turn.
3. Remove a radiator (see subsection 4.5).
4. Remove the conditioner compressor (if it is provided) and take aside, without disconnecting the highway.
5. Remove the fuel pump (on carburetor engines).
6. Remove the distributor. Keep in mind that the begunok should be directed towards a conclusion of the 6th cylinder. Before removal designate situation a begunka labels.
7. Uncover heads of cylinders.
8. Remove yokes with rollers and bars of pushers.
9. Remove pushers.
10. Remove a forward cover.
11. Check a gap in gearing of gear wheels of a drive of a cam-shaft. If the gap does not correspond to norm, both gear wheels replace.
12. Remove a persistent washer and carefully get a cam-shaft, holding at the block.
13. Check a face gap of a cam-shaft. If люфт exceeds norm, replace a persistent washer.
14. Press on a gear wheel from a cam-shaft, having removed a lock ring (1 – up) (if there is no press, address in car-care center).
15. Remove a crankshaft shponka.
16. Remove a stripper a leading gear wheel.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear details and check a condition of teeths of gear wheels. In the presence of chips, a vykrashivaniye, deformations of a gear wheel replace (change only in pair). Check a condition of the block of cylinders and a crankshaft sock (existence of agnails or scratches which interfere with gear wheel removal).
2. Napressuyte opravky a leading gear wheel on the crankshaft сориентировав marking (1) outside and having combined a groove in a gear wheel with sample a shponka (a photo at the left). Sample (2) under a shponka should be turned up (a photo on the right).
3. Grease necks and cam-shaft cams with molybdenic greasing and carefully establish a cam-shaft.
4. Enter a conducted gear wheel into gearing from the leader, having combined labels (1).
5. Wrap bolts of a persistent washer and tighten with the set moment.
6. Establish a crankshaft shponka.
7. Establish an oil nozzle so that the opening (1) was directed on gear wheels. Previously check purity of a nozzle.

8. Further assembly is carried out upside-down. Keep in mind that pushers and a cam-shaft change only in common. Establish other details, fill and start the engine, hear to work and be convinced of lack of a leak.
