2.37. Check and installation of the moment of ignition
GENERAL INFORMATION
Prevention

The order of installation of ignition and necessary data are specified in the podkapotny plate of the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Close накоротко conclusions of E1 and TE1 of the diagnostic socket.
2. Check idling turns.
3. At the switched-off ignition connect a stroboscope, being guided by the instruction of the manufacturer of the device.
4. Labels of installation of ignition and VMT on cars of early release are on a flywheel wreath. Uncover.
5. On cars of late release the adjusting scale of ignition is on a crankshaft pulley. Well wipe an adjusting scale.
6. Designate paint dredging on a wreath of a pulley and on a scale, being guided by plate data.
7. Start the engine and direct stroboscope light on a scale. The label on a pulley of the crankshaft should be opposite to the corresponding designation on a scale. If necessary weaken a bolt of fastening of the distributor and slowly turning the distributor, establish the ignition moment. Tighten a bolt of the distributor and again check installation of the moment of ignition.
8. Switch off ignition and remove a stroboscope.
