GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of a drain stopper of cooling liquid

1. Drain stopper of the block of cylinders (all cars)

2. A drain stopper of a radiator on cars of late release

3. A drain stopper of a radiator on cars of early release

Prevention

Works are carried out on the cold engine at observance of precautionary measures (antifreeze is poisonous).

Replacement of liquid and washing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Substitute a vessel under a drain stopper of a radiator.
2. Two flat-nose pliers unscrew a drain stopper and a stopper of a mouth of a radiator (press and turn against a chasosy arrow). Merge liquid. Then unscrew a stopper and merge liquid from the block of cylinders (if liquid does not pour down, punch a screw-driver a rust in a drain opening).
3. Check and if necessary replace the damaged hoses of system of cooling.
4. Wash out a radiator a stream at its finest (deletes only a deposit), if necessary wash out special detergent (deletes rust stratifications). If to wash out a radiator it is not possible, or if there are appreciable damages and a leak, remove a radiator and hand over in repair.
5. Disconnect a tank hose, merge liquid, wash out a tank and dress a hose.
6. Tighten both drain stoppers.
7. Transfer a heater rychazhok to the provision of the maximum heatreturn.
8. Fill in liquid (in the ratio 50/50 waters and antifreeze) to the bottom mark of a tank.
9. Without closing a stopper a radiator, warm up the engine before thermostat opening (it is felt on heating of the top hose).
10. Stop the engine and after cooling fill in liquid to edge of a mouth, having pressed on a hose, remove air then wrap a stopper.
11. Start the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak.
